Refund Policy

Attic (iOS and Android)

All Attic purchases, including the one-time Core unlock ($4.99) and the Share subscription ($2.99/month or $19.99/year), are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. Tiny Forest Labs does not handle payment or billing for Attic directly.

Refund requests for Attic purchases must be submitted through the App Store or Google Play. Each platform has its own refund policy and process:

  • Apple App Store: visit reportaproblem.apple.com to request a refund.
  • Google Play: visit the Google Play Help Center to request a refund through your account.

We have no ability to issue Attic refunds ourselves; those decisions rest entirely with Apple and Google under their respective policies.

Attic Share subscription cancellation

You can cancel your Share subscription at any time through your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. After cancellation, your local data on your device stays intact and keeps working.

Understory (macOS, Windows, Linux)

Understory is currently in alpha and is free to download. There is nothing to refund during the alpha period.

When Understory moves to a paid release, it will be a one-time purchase sold through Paddle, our merchant of record. If you buy it and are not satisfied, contact us at support@tinyforestlabs.com within 30 days and we will arrange a refund through Paddle. We want you to feel good about buying from us.
