The Short Version
AxiomWeaver is a local-first desktop application. Your manuscripts, characters, world-building data, and creative work never leave your machine. We don’t have access to it, we don’t want access to it, and the app is designed so that we can’t access it.
What We Collect
Website (tinyforestlabs.com)
- •Analytics: We use Vercel Analytics to understand how visitors use this website. Vercel Analytics is cookieless and does not track individual users. It collects aggregate page view counts, referrer data, and country-level geography. No personal data is stored.
- •Waitlist email: If you join the waitlist, we store your email address to send you alpha invitations and product updates. Your email is stored by Resend (our email provider) and is never shared with third parties. You can request removal at any time by emailing support@tinyforestlabs.com.
Desktop Application (AxiomWeaver)
- •Your creative work: Manuscripts, entity data, world-building, notes, and all project files are stored locally on your computer in a
.codexfile. This data is never transmitted to our servers or any third party. - •Crash reports (opt-in): If you opt in, anonymous crash reports are sent to Sentry to help us fix bugs. These contain stack traces and device info (OS, architecture) but never manuscript content, entity names, character names, or file paths.
- •Usage analytics (opt-in): If you opt in, anonymous usage statistics are sent to Aptabase to help us understand which features are used. Aptabase uses true anonymization (irreversible) — not pseudonymization. We track feature usage counts, app version, OS, and session duration. We never track keystrokes, text content, or anything identifying your creative work.
- •Update checks: The app checks for updates on launch by requesting a version manifest from GitHub. This is a standard HTTPS request that contains no personal data.
What We Never Collect
- •Manuscript text or prose content
- •Character names, entity names, or world-building data
- •File paths or project names
- •Individual keystrokes or typing patterns
- •Personally identifiable information from the desktop app
