Frequently asked questions
How do I restore my purchase?
If you've already paid for the Core unlock and need to restore it on a new device or after reinstalling, open the app and look for the Restore Purchases option in Settings. Your purchase is tied to your App Store or Google Play account, so as long as you're signed in with the same account, the restore will go through at no charge.
What is Share, and do I need it?
Share is the optional cloud sync subscription ($2.99/month or $19.99/year). It adds sync across your devices, partner or family access, and the ability to generate a buyer share link or QR code when you sell. You do not need Share to use Attic. The core app, including unlimited rooms after the one-time Core unlock, works entirely on your device with no subscription required.
Where is my data stored? Is it private?
Without Share, all your home data, homes, rooms, items, photos, and change log entries, stays on your device. With Share enabled, your content syncs to my cloud backend (Supabase) and is tied to your Apple or Google account. Attic has no analytics and no tracking, and I am committed to keeping it that way. I don't run ads and I don't sell your data.
How do I delete my data?
To delete locally stored data, uninstall the app. All local data is removed with it. If you're a Share subscriber and want your cloud data deleted, email support@tinyforestlabs.com and I'll delete your account and all synced data. (In-app deletion is planned for a future update. Data export is also planned for a future release.)
Does Attic work without internet?
Yes. The core app runs fully offline. You can add homes, rooms, items, photos, and change log entries with no connection. Share subscribers need internet to sync, but the local copy of your data is always available on your device, even when you're offline.
Which devices does Attic support?
Attic runs on iOS 16 and later, and Android 8.0 (Oreo) and later. It is not yet available as a web app or desktop app.
